Kiwi Filesystem
Introduction
Kiwi is a file system built on top of HTTPS and WebDAV. Try it
out. These directions are minimal so if you have problems or
questions, let me know.
Current Status: I am not currently maintaining or developing the
file system. If you're interested in taking over, let me know.
Download
Current version is 0.6.1: kiwi-0.6.1.tar.gz (12/17/2003).
You will also need openssl, apache, mod_ssl, and mod_dav to get
everything to compile. Versions that are known to work are
openssl-0.9.6, apache_1.3.19, mod_ssl-2.8.2-1.3.19,
mod_dav-1.0.2-1.3.6.
Installation
The client Linux-specific filesystem code was developed on the 2.4.x
kernels. Parts of the OS independent client have been compiled and run
on Solaris. The server part should compile on whatever platforms
Apache is supported, although this hasn't been tested.
Check out the INSTALL file in the kiwi package.
