Rights of Adolescents When a controlling power violates the rights which adolescents are naturally entitled to, the nature of the violations should be declared in order to ensure the justice and equality of man. As an adolescent, all of the given rights of man must be ensured, including freedom, speech, and the pursuit of happiness. It is the responsibility of the controllers, school, parents, government, etc., to protect these rights. When one of these is unable to fulfill its duty, the adolescent has the right and obligation to speak out and remove the opposing group. These are violations that have been made against the rights of adolescents. The controllers have not allowed adolescents the right to do what they want. They have controlled every detail of an adolescent's life. The government has forced adolescents go to school. Adolescents have the freedom to decide by themselves what they want. The controllers have no right to force an adolescent to do anything. Schools assign adolescents work. Adolescents have had no freedom in the classrooms. Controllers do not seriously listen to adolescents. They do almost everything independent of the adolescent. Adolescents are not allowed to pursue many of their own dreams only because their controllers do not want them. When these complaints have been brought to the attention of the controllers, few complaints have been met satisfactorily. Some have extended adolescents' freedom but none have given adolescents the full extent of rights that they deserve. These rights are very basic rights of all men and adolescents must have the right to these rights. The listed violations must be addressed by the proper individuals. Adolescents do have rights and they must be acknowledged. Austin Che
